SEATTLE - The Huskies host No. 12 Indiana on Friday night in a pivotal Big Ten matchup at Husky Soccer Stadium. Washington will be looking for its third straight win to maintain its position atop the Big Ten standings. In addition to the action on the field, the match will serve as the DP Night, honoring former Husky Daniel Phelps while raising awareness for sudden cardiac arrest.

SCOUTING THE HOOSIERS
No. 12 Indiana is 7-2-1 on the season with a 2-2 record in Big Ten play. Indiana enters Friday's match following a 4-2 win over UCLA in Bloomington. They also netted four goals in a 4-1 win over Penn State earlier this season. The two losses for the Hoosiers came in Big Ten play, dropping a 3-2 match defeat to Michigan and a 1-0 loss to Michigan State.
SERIES HISTORY
The Huskies trail in the all-time series against Indiana, owning a 2-4-1 record dating back to the first matchup in 1992. Last year, Washington battled to a 2-2 draw in Bloomington.

UW moves to 4-2-5 (1-1-3 Big Ten) on the season and extend their unbeaten streak to four matches.
Dating back to 2019, the Huskies are 27-8-11 in road contests. This season, UW has four results as the visiting team.
Indiana got on the board early with Quinton Elliot's goal in the sixth minute.
Charlie Kosakoff responded in the 11th minute with his third goal of the season. It is his second goal against the Hoosiers as his first career goal came at Indiana last season in a 1-0 victory.
Senior defender Caden Buckley recorded his first point in the Purple and Gold with his assist.
The Hoosiers retook the lead minutes later on Elliot's second of the match.
Washington's defense locked down in the last 45 minutes, allowing only five Indiana shots.
With 10 minutes remaining, Aman found the equalizer with his second goal of the season. Kosakoff recorded the assist to match his career-high with three points, also doing so earlier this season at Air Force. He leads the team with 10 points.
Continuing to apply the pressure in the final minutes, Cooper Brunell's shot with 30 seconds remaining hit just off the top of the post.
PERFECT ROAD TRIP
Washington completed the six-point road swing over the weekend, following up Friday's win at Wisconsin with a 1-0 victory at Northwestern. Levi Bieber earned his third shutout of the season as Harrison Bertos collected his second game-winning goal of the season. Richie Aman and Alex Hall were instrumental in the build up and each were credited with an assist on the play.

The Huskies claimed their second Big Ten win of the season on Friday night, taking down Wisconsin 2-0 on the road. Richie Aman scored his third goal of the season, a game-winner off an assist from Alex Hall to open the scoring before Zach Ramsey finished off the game in the 88th minute with his team-leading fifth goal of the season. Jadon Bowton also earned Washington's third clean sheet of the year in the victory.
FIRST HOME DEFEAT
The Huskies fell to Michigan 1-0 last Saturday, the first Big Ten loss of the season for Washington. The game-winning goal was scored from a penalty kick in the final minute of the first half. Washington tallied 16 shots including four on goal compared to only 11 shots and two on goal for the Wolverines.
B1G PLAYERS
Richie Aman and Harrison Bertos earned Big Ten weekly accolades after leading Washington to an undefeated Big Ten road trip. Aman was named the conference's Offensive Player of the Week while Bertos was tabbed as the Defensive Player of the Week.

Hall has become a crucial part of the Huskies' offense of late. On Monday, he provided a crucial assist to the game winner scored by Harrison Bertos. CLARK INKS EXTENSION
Following UW's first season in the Big 10 and their 11th NCAA Tournament appearance in the last 14 years, head coach Jamie Clark signed an extension at the University of Washington, tying him to the Huskies through 2029.
Washington has become a postseason regular under Clark and has consistently earned results in the national tournament. The Huskies secured their ninth second round appearance in the NCAA Tournament in 2024 after advancing out of a penalty shootout against Seattle U.
In 2021, Clark guided the Dawgs to a national runner up finish, the best result in program history, while also tying the program record for wins in a season with 18. The Huskies have finished with at least eight wins in 13 of Clark's 14 at the helm and have claimed at least 12 wins 11 times since his appointment as head coach.
HOMEGROWN TALENT
Washington's roster features 19 of 29 players who hail from the state of Washington. Four players claim Seattle as their hometown (Asher Hestad, Joe Dale, Cameron Cruz, and Jaeger Felton), while two each are from Spokane (Kenny Pierpoint and Jadon Bowton), and from Bellevue (Sheehan Ganguly and Chad Sovde).
