
No.19 Beach Dawgs Head To Stanford For Regular-Season Finale

SEATTLE β The No. 19 Washington beach volleyball team is headed to Stanford, California, for its final tournament of the regular season. The Beach Dawgs will face a competitive slate, including two top-10 opponents in No. 3 Stanford and No. 9 California. Washington will also take on UC Davis and Santa Clara, both for the second time this season.
The tournament begins Friday with a matchup against UC Davis at 11 a.m. PT. The Huskies will close out the day against No. 9 Cal at 3 p.m. PT. On Saturday, Washington opens play versus Santa Clara at 9 a.m. PT, followed by a highly anticipated match against host Stanford at 1 p.m. PT. The match against the Cardinal will be streamed on B1G+.
The Huskies are coming off a strong weekend at home, finishing 3-1. Washington earned sweeps over then-No. 19 FIU and Oregon twice. Senior Lauren Wilcock also reached a career milestone, recording her 75th win to highlight an electric weekend for the Beach Dawgs.
UC Davis enters the weekend with a 17-11 record after going 4-0 in its most recent competition. No. 9 Cal holds a 22-6 mark and also went undefeated last weekend at the Hawai'i Invitational. Santa Clara is 13-13 and recently picked up a 3-2 win over San Jose State. Stanford, ranked third nationally, is 23-8 and coming off a 3-1 weekend against all top-10 opponents.
