
Huskies Selected To Host First And Second Rounds Of Women’s Tennis NCAA Tournament

SEATTLE – The NCAA postseason run begins this weekend for the Huskies, as Washington was selected as one of 16 host sites for the first and second rounds of the NCAA Tournament.
The conference announced Monday afternoon that 16-seed UW will host first and second round action on Friday, May 2 and Saturday, May 3.
The Huskies will welcome Stetson (18-4), Cal (13-8), and Sacramento State (19-3) to Montlake.
Cal and Sacramento State will face each other in first round action on Friday at 11 a.m. for the first match of the weekend on Montlake.
Washington (20-4, 11-2 Big Ten) will face the Stetson Hatters at 2 p.m. PT on Friday in the first round.
Saturday's second round action will begin at 1 p.m. between the winners of Friday's matches.
This will be the fifth time overall and first time since 2019 that Washington will host the NCAA Tournament. In 2019, the Huskies hosted the first and second rounds and picked up two home sweeps (4-0 vs. Army and 4-0 vs. Princeton).
