No. 20 Iowa Tops UW 41-24 On Friday Night

Third-year quarterback Elijah Brown entered the game for the Huskies when Demond Williams Jr. was injured in the first half.
The Stanford transfer led two 75-yard touchdown drives in the third quarter to bring the contest to a two-possession game.
Following an Iowa touchdown, Brown led the Dawgs down the field and connected with Dezmen Roebuck for a 2-yard touchdown catch and again for a two-point conversion to make the score 34-16.

The Dawgs stormed down the field on their first possession of the second half. Brown, who completed 11 of his first 12 passes, linked up with Chris Lawson for the first Husky touchdown of the game.

The Husky defense struggled to slow the Hawkeye offense and UW ultimately lost its second-straight game to a ranked opponent.
Brown added a late TD strike to Mason James and completed 28 of 39 passes for 251 yards and three touchdowns in just over a half of play.
Lawson finished with eight catches for 86 yards and a score. Rashid Williams secured five catches for 66 yards.
Neither team turned the ball over.
The Huskies hit the road next week for a matchup at Purdue. The game kicks off at 5:00 p.m. PT Friday, Oct. 16 on FOX.
