
GymDawgs Close Home Slate with Senior Day Meet Against Sacramento State

SEATTLE – The GymDawgs are back at home for their final home meet of the season, hosting No. 50 Sacramento State on Friday, March 13, at 6:30 p.m. PT.
Friday's meet will also serve as Senior Day, as Washington celebrates the careers and contributions of Deiah Moody, Lana Navarro, Caitlin McWilliams, Emma Schrady, Lilly Tubbs, Olivia Oppegard, and Thu Nguyen.

Fans in attendance will also have the chance to win tickets to an upcoming Seattle Torrent match as part of a special in-arena promotion.
Coming off a 195.550–196.900 battle with No. 26 Southern Utah, Washington looks to finish strong at home. The Huskies opened with a 49.025 on bars, led by 9.825s from Kristin Lin, Mary, McDonough, Moody, and Tubbs, while freshman Evelyn DeYoung added a 9.725 in her second lineup appearance. Tubbs paced the Dawgs on vault with a 9.850, while Kira Bolden and McWilliams each scored 9.850 on floor. Moody highlighted beam with a 9.875, while Elena Brian added a 9.825 in just her second beam lineup appearance. Lin also posted a 39.025 in the all-around, her fifth 39+ score of the season.
The Huskies enter the week ranked No. 38 nationally and No. 11 in the Big Ten.

Sacramento State gymnastics is entering the meet after winning against No.60 UC Davis 194.175–192.550 on Sunday at the University Credit Union Center, marking their first home win there since 2019 and reclaiming the all-time series lead (64-63). The Hornets led all four rotations, highlighted by Kara Houghton's 9.900 on bars and Sarah Lutrel's season-high 39.200 all-around. Sacramento State will close the regular season at Washington on March 13 before heading to the MPSF Championships on March 21 in Cedar City, Utah.
