
Washington Gymnastics Takes on No. 26 Southern Utah

SEATTLE βΒ The Washington Huskies head to Cedar City, Utah, on Friday, March 6 for a 5:30 p.m. PT meet against No. 26 Southern Utah Thunderbirds.

Washington is coming off a 194.425 at the B1G 4 Meet, highlighted by a strong bars rotation and strong finish on floor. Michigan won the meet with a 197.475, followed by Penn State (197.225) and Nebraska (195.200).
The Huskies opened on vault with a 48.775 behind Kristin Lin's 9.800 and Kira Bolden's 9.775. Washington's biggest highlight came on bars, posting a 49.050 as Lilly Tubbs earned a season-high 9.925 to win the event, while Deiah Moody and Mary McDonough each added 9.825.
After a 47.525 on beam, the GymDawgs closed with their top rotation of the night on floor (49.075), led by Caitlin McWilliams' 9.850. Jessica Schaffer scored a 9.825, and Kristin Lin, Kira Bolden and Chelsea Hallinan each recorded 9.800.
Lin also placed third in the all-around with a 38.100.
Washington enters the week ranked No. 36 nationally. Individually, Hallinan ranks No. 7 in the Big Ten.

Despite the loss, the Thunderbirds delivered multiple highlight performances. Emma Nipper captured beam gold with a career-high 9.925, while Rylee Miller tied for first on bars with a personal-best 9.875 and added a career-high 9.900 on beam. Berlin Hall energized the floor lineup with a winning 9.900.
