Washington Athletics Announces Leadership Appointments

SEATTLE – University of Washington Director of Athletics Pat Chun today announced a department reorganization, with a series of leadership appointments across Washington Athletics.
The reorganization reflects Washington Athletics' continued investment in developing internal leadership and building an executive team positioned to meet the opportunities and challenges of modern college athletics.
"One of the greatest strengths of Washington Athletics is the outstanding people who serve our student-athletes every day," said Chun. "Each of these individuals has played an important role in advancing Washington Athletics, and these appointments reflect both their leadership and the confidence we have in their continued ability to serve our student-athletes and our university. I am grateful for their commitment to this department and excited about what we will accomplish together."
Washington's Senior Leadership Team will feature seven appointments: Dan Erickson, Chris Hein, and Alethia Mead have each been appointed Senior Associate Athletic Directors. Four individuals have been appointed as Associate Athletic Directors: Megan Larson, Sam Wojtalewicz, Amy Landram, and Justin Glenn.
Erin O'Connell, Kim Durand, and Shannon Kelly have each been appointed Senior Deputy Athletic Directors.
Joining the Deputy Athletic Director team are Scott Coil, Kiley Strong, and Nina Keaney, Human Resources.
Additionally, Chip Lydum will transition from Associate Athletic Director for Operations and Capital Projects to Special Assistant to the Chief Operating Officer, reporting directly to O'Connell. In his new role, Lydum will continue supporting key strategic initiatives while providing operational leadership and institutional expertise across the department.
All appointments are effective immediately.
