Husky Softball Unveils 2027 Big Ten Slate

SEATTLE – Washington will enter its third season as a member of the Big Ten and will look to continue to build on its success from the 2026 season.
The Huskies will travel to a handful of new spots in 2027, including starting off the season with a coast-to-coast venture to Rutgers to open Big Ten play.
Washington and Rutgers will face off in Piscataway, NJ, for opening weekend with a three-game series starting Friday, March 19.
The Dawgs will stay out east for a three-game series the following weekend at Wisconsin beginning on March 26.
Opening weekend at Husky Softball Stadium will kick-off April 2-4 with a visit from the Purdue Boilermakers. The weekend will mark the first ever meeting between the two teams as Big Ten opponents.
UW will stay home another week and host Illinois April 9-11 – the first time the Illini will make a trip to Seattle to face the Huskies.
The rest of the conference regular season is back-and-forth for Washington, as the squad makes the west coast road trip down to UCLA April 16-18 to take on the Bruins.
The Huskies return to Seattle for three home battles against Michigan April 23-25 before jetting off to Indiana for a series beginning April 30.
The regular season concludes right back at home with a rivalry series with the Ducks. Oregon will enter enemy territory with a three-game series beginning May 7 at Husky Softball Stadium.
The 2027 Big Ten Softball Tournament will be hosted by the defending 2026 Big Ten Tournament and Big Ten regular season champion Nebraska Cornhuskers.
