Olympic sliver medalist Kristina Walker joined the Washington men's rowing coaching staff ahead of the 2024-25 season.
In her first season with the Huskies, Walker helped lead UW to its 21st IRA National Championship, as Washington won the varsity eight, second varsity eight and varsity four titles at the 2025 IRA National Championship Regatta.
Walker rowed in the Canadian women's eight that finished second at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, the culmination of a career that also included rowing in the 2020 Olympics (in the four) and at two World Championship regattas.
A native of Wolfe Island, Ontario, Canada, Walker attended the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. As a senior in 2018-19, she helped lead UBC to the Canadian national championship, rowing in both the gold medal-winning eight and the single at the national championship regatta.
