2025 (Junior)
2024 (Sophomore at Florida State) Made three appearances and one start for the Noles in her sophomore campaign...Made her first appearance of the season against Georgia in Clearwater pitching 1.1 innings...Made her first start of the season for the Noles pitching 1.2 innings allowing zero runs, hits, and walks, while striking out two in the Noles victory over Alabama State....Made appearance against Oklahoma (5/23/24) in the Super Regional. 2023 (Freshman at Florida State) Made eight appearances and a start...Finished the season with an 1-0 record and 2.62 ERA in eight innings...Made her first start on the road in the victory at Stetson (4/18)…Earned her first win over Colgate as she struck out two batters (3/3)…Completed her first multi-inning game with 2.0 frames of work with no hits on eight batters…Made her first collegiate appearance against Florida A&M conceding no runs (2/14). |

Attended Lancaster High School...In her career (Junior and Senior Seasons) she pitched 241.3 innings and recorded 524 strikeouts finishing with a 0.696 ERA…As a senior, Balk was named the ECIC Division 1 Pitcher of the Year, was named a PGF All-American and was named the All-WNY Pitcher of the Year…She was also named to the All-WNY First Team…Balk was named the All-Bee Softball Pitcher of the Year, and to the All-Bee First Team along with being named All-Western New York Scholar-Athlete of the Year…As of November 2021 Balked was ranked the No. 16 pitcher in the country by Extra Innings Softball…In 2022 she was named to the Alliance Fastpitch All-State Team and to the PGF All-American Watch List…was named the Most Outstanding Pitcher in 2019 and 2020 at the USSSA Tournament in Ocean City Maryland and Connecticut…Was tournament MVP at the USSSA tournament in 2020. |
