Born in Everett, Washington … parents are Tiffany and Christopher Sanders … has two sisters, Anna and Mary … uncle, Graham Lassee, was a defensive end for the Husky football team, lettering in 2002 and 2003 … one of the top recruits in the nation in her class, as she played for the U.S. Junior National Team in 2016 and was a First Team AVCA Under Armour All-American her senior year … ranked No. 20 nationally in the PrepVolleyball.com annual list of Senior Aces … named to the 2017 Volleyball Magazine “Fab 50” of the nation’s top recruits … one of twelve players named to the 2016 U.S. Junior National Team which took silver at the NORCECA U20 Continental Championships and also went 5-0 at the 2016 USA High Performance U20 Championships … competed on the 2015 Girls Youth National Training Team … named First Team All-WesCo all four years of her career … a Seattle Times “Star Times” selection in 2016 … played club three years for the Washington Volleyball Academy … graduated with a 3.96 GPA and considering a career in nursing.
