Post-Game Notes
Washington won its 10th straight Pac-10 home game, the second longest streak in school history. UW won 11 consecutive conference home games from March 12, 1983 to January 3, 1985.
Senior Tre Simmons registered his first career double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds. That was the first double-digit rebound game for Simmons whose previous career-high was nine boards.
Simmons has also had at least a share of high-scoring honors for the Huskies in four of the past five games. The only game he was not the high-scorer in the last five was the Huskies loss to UCLA. During the first 11 games Simmons only led UW scorers twice.
The Huskies extended their home winning streak to 16 games, the 10th best stretch in history. UW's last home loss was against UCLA on Jan. 10, 2004.
Will Conroy became the first player in UW history to post three 100-assist seasons. His five assists Thursday pushed his season total to 103. Conroy distributed 142 assists in 2004 and 108 in 2003.
Washington has played in front of capacity crowds for each of its three home Pac-10 games. The only other home sellout was against NC State on Dec. 19, 2004.
