Eugene, OR - The 26th-ranked Washington men's golf team is tied for second with host Oregon at the Duck Invitational played at the Eugene Country Club. The Huskies and Ducks trail Georgia Tech by two strokes entering Tuesday's final round of play.
Washington shot 2-under 576 led by James Lepp's 5-under 139. Lepp opened with a 73 during the first round and then carded a 6-under 66 during his second 18 holes. Pepperdine's Michael Putnam leads the field at 136 while San Jose State's Justin Madison is second at 138.
Husky freshman Zach Bixler is seventh overall at 3-under 141. Bixler had rounds of 68 and 73. Erik Olson and Alex Prugh are tied for 33rd at 147 while Travis Andrews is 65th at 152.
Tuesday's final round begins at 8 a.m.
