Postgame notes following Washington's dramatic 59-52 come-from-behind victory over Oregon State in the 2010 Pacific Life Pac-10 Tournament at the Staples Center in Los Angeles:
• Washington is arguably one of the hottest teams in college basketball, winning 10 of its last 12 games.
• Senior All Pac-10 forward Quincy Pondexter came into the game three points short of 1,700 for his career and passed that milestone at the 14:21 mark of the second half on a driving jumper. He now has 1,706 for his career. He passed Eldridge Recasner (1,700 career points) for sole possession of 5th all-time on the UW scoring list. Next up is Todd MacCulloch (1,743).
• Pondexter joins Oregon's Tajuan Porter and California's Jerome Randle as the only active Pac-10 players with at least 1,700 career points.
• Washington's 22 first half points marked the second lowest total they scored this season, only trailing its 19 points at the break in a 68-51 loss at Arizona State on Jan. 8.
• The previous largest halftime deficit UW overcame to win a game this season was six points vs. Arizona on Feb. 4. UW trailed 37-31 and won 81-75.
• Washington faces Stanford in the Pac-10 Tournament semifinals Friday night at 8:30 p.m. The Huskies have played in three Pac-10 Tournament semifinals all-time and are 2-1 with the only loss coming at the hands of Arizona State (75-65) last season.
• Washington moved to 1-1 all-time against Oregon State in the Pac-10 Tournament. The Huskies lost to the Beavers in the 1988 quarterfinals.
• Lorenzo Romar moved to 13-4 against Oregon State as a head coach. OSU coach Craig Robinson is winless against Washingotn (0-5).
