Aman, McCool And Richards Score In Shutout

SEATTLE - After their first loss of the season, the Husky men's soccer team rebounded with an impressive 4-0 shutout over Houston Baptist in their first game of the Husky Fever Classic.
UW improves to 4-1-2 on the year and HBU falls to 0-7-1. The Huskies will take on No. 24/20 UAB on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. In game one of the tournament, Portland defeated UAB, 3-2.
Senior Abdual Aman (Bellingham, Wash.) made his first career start as a Husky and scored his first career goal in the 11th minute on an assist by junior Quinton Beasley (Camas, Wash.).
Beasley also assisted on the final goal of the game scored by senior Brent Richards (Camas, Wash.) in the 55th minute. Richards scored twice in the game, both on headers, the first in the 52nd minute on an assist by junior Ben Fisk (Federal Way, Wash.).
Senior Casey McCool (Bend, Ore.) scored his first goal of the season in the 21st minute on an assist by junior Dylan Tucker-Gangnes (Bainbridge Island, Wash.).
UW took 21 shots to just seven for HBU and took four corner kicks.
Sophomore Spencer Richey (Seattle, Wash.) picked up his fourth win in goal and fifth shutout, making six saves.
Richards took a team-high six shots, three on goal. Aman, McCool and senior Jake Hustedt (Sandy, Utah) took three shots each.
