Miller Wins Silver At NACAC U23

SEATTLE - First Team All-American Logan Miller donned the USA jersey for the first time this weekend, as she vaulted for Team USA in the NACAC Under-23 Championships in Guanajuato, Mexico. Miller earned her first hardware, picking up the silver medal as the top finishing American in the meet.
Held every two years, the North America-Central America and Caribbean (NACAC) Under-23 Championships provide a great chance for some of the top American athletes to continue with international competition beyond the junior ranks. Many athletes on Team USA are just coming off NCAA titles or podium finishes from the end of the collegiate season.
Miller, the Reno, Nev. native, finished as the runner-up with a clearance of 13-11 1/4. Canada's Melanie Blouin won the event going 14-3 1/2.
The outstanding junior season for Miller included a school-record clearance of 14-4 1/2 in a runner-up finish at the Pac-12 Championships. She went on to place fourth at the NCAA Championships, earning All-America First Team honors and contributing to the Husky women's team's eighth-place finish.
