Three-year letterwinner and two-time all-conference performer (1999 & 2000) ... One of the premier defenders in the country ... Missed the entire 2001 campaign due to an injury ... Tore the ACL in her left knee during the summer of 2001 while playing with the Seattle Sounders Select Team ... "It's really impressive how she has come back from her knee injury. She is 100 percent. We just look to see the old Morelli back on the field. She clearly is as fired up as anyone after having sat out a year. I feel sorry for the people that she plays against. The good news is that she got hurt in June and it will be a year-plus since the injury. She has worked so hard to come back and she really is the same player again. We always knew she was good, but she really has put so much time and effort into taking her game to a higher level. She is as tough a tackler as I've ever seen. She is very difficult for anyone to beat with the combination of her speed and tenacity."
