A number of wins at today's Ken Shannon Invite set the Huskies up well for championship season.
2011-12 (At Spokane Community College): Impressive sophomore season in 2012, as he won the NWAACC hammer throw title while finishing second in both the shot put and discus ... won the 2012 NWAACC hammer throw competition by more than 20 feet, throwing 183-1 ... as a freshman, won the discus title at the NWAACC Championships, and was fourth in the shot put and the hammer throw.
High School and Personal: Born in Riverdale, Georgia ... mother is Kimberly Brown ... finished in the top-five at the Washington 4A state championships as a senior in 2009 in both the shot put and the discus ... was third in the shot put with a toss of 53-9 3/4, and was fifth in the discus at 153-4 ... won the Narrows League shot put title and was second in the discus his senior year ... lettered two years in football and was named 2008 Lineman of the Year and second-team All-Narrows League ... Lincoln's male field athlete of the year in 2009.
