2014: Competed just once during the year, unattached at the UW Indoor Preview, where he was fourth in the weight throw at 55-9.
2013: The top discus and hammer thrower on the squad in his first season, qualifying for NCAA West Prelims in the discus throw … threw a season-best by nearly 17-feet at the Ken Shannon Invite in the discus, going 171-7 to advance to West Prelims … unable to get a legal mark at the West Prelim meet … at Pac-12s, finished 11th in the hammer with a PR of 177-1, and was 14th in the discus at 149-4 … won the hammer throw at the UW-WSU Dual with a best of 175-1, and was third in the discus at 154-6 … competed unattached during the indoor season, with a season-best in the weight throw of 59-7, which would rank ninth on the UW top-10 had it been in uniform … a shot put season-best of 48-2 ¾ in the UW Final Qualifier.
2011-12 (At Spokane Community College): Impressive sophomore season in 2012, as he won the NWAACC hammer throw title while finishing second in both the shot put and discus ... won the 2012 NWAACC hammer throw competition by more than 20 feet, throwing 183-1 ... as a freshman, won the discus title at the NWAACC Championships, and was fourth in the shot put and the hammer throw.
High School and Personal: Born in Riverdale, Georgia ... mother is Kimberly Brown ... finished in the top-five at the Washington 4A state championships as a senior in 2009 in both the shot put and the discus ... was third in the shot put with a toss of 53-9 3/4, and was fifth in the discus at 153-4 ... won the Narrows League shot put title and was second in the discus his senior year ... lettered two years in football and was named 2008 Lineman of the Year and second-team All-Narrows League ... Lincoln's male field athlete of the year in 2009.
