High School and Personal: Born in Kirkland, Washington ... mother is Jayme Marshall and father is LaNoris "Crickett" Marshall, who was a UW All-American, holding the 200-meter school record of 20.46 seconds for nearly two decades ... Crickett Marshall was third in the 200m at the 1981 NCAA Championships and ran on UW's second-place 4x100m relay at the 1983 NCAA finals ... the youngest of six children, with older brothers Rodney, Shaun, and Victor, and older sisters Olivia and Rachel ... qualified for the Washington 3A state meet in four events as a senior, placing fifth in the 100m dash final after setting a wind-aided PR of 10.85 in the prelims ... also took 10th in the 200-meters, and anchored the 4x100m relay to a third-place finish and ran on the eighth-place 4x400m relay ... KingCo champ at 100-meters his junior year, and was second as a sophomore and senior ... as a junior, was 10th at state in the 100m, and 14th in the triple jump ... as ran at state on the 4x100m relay as a sophomore and junior ... graduated with a 3.96 grade point average.
