Hana Moll Wins First Diamond League Title

SEATTLE – Three-time NCAA champion Hana Moll soared to one of the biggest wins of her career today, as she claimed her first Diamond League victory in Lausanne, Switzerland. Moll cleared an outdoor PR of 15-10 1/2 to beat a field packed with the best vaulters in the world.
The Diamond League meets are the highest level of professional invitational track meets. There are fifteen total meets held all around the globe from May through the Diamond League Championship coming up in a couple weeks in Brussels, Belgium.
This was the third Diamond League meet that Moll competed in since the NCAA Outdoor Championships in June, previously competing at the Pre Classic in Eugene, and the Monaco Diamond League meet. She had a third-place finish at the 2025 Brussels Diamond League meet, her previous best until today.
It was a dramatic win as well for Hana, as she won it on the final attempt of the competition. Moll and reigning European Champion Angelica Moser of Switzerland were the only two women to clear 15-6 1/2. Moser was leading based on one earlier miss for Moll, but she missed all three of her attempts at 15-10 1/2. Moll missed her first two chances, but with one chance left, and Moser eliminated, Moll got cleanly up and over to claim the victory. She did not attempt any higher bars after that.
That make also tied twin sister Amanda's outdoor PR, which is the NCAA Outdoor Record.
"I´m really proud of how today went," said Moll. "Whatever the weather, I wasn´t going to let it affect me, the two words in my mind were "fearless" and "fierce". I focused on myself rather than the competitors around me, and that led to my result. The energy in the stadium was amazing, and for the rest of the season I want to keep executing my technique, having fun and doing what I did today."
