AT WASHINGTON:
Leaves UW ranked fourth all-time in career goals against average (1.04) and fifth in shutouts (16)... His 73 saves and six shutouts his senior year both rank No. 10 all-time on the single-season charts... Four-time First Team Pac-10 All-Academic... Two-time First Team Academic All-Region, twice by ESPN The Magazine and once by NSCAA... Named Academic All-American by ESPN the Magazine, Pac-10 Scholar-Athlete of the Year and Lowe's Senior CLASS Award finalist his senior year.
2009 (Senior) - Team captain for the fourth year... Honored for both his play on the field and his contributions off the field... Named the Pac-10 Scholar Athlete of the Year for men's soccer... One of 10 finalists nationally for the Lowe's Senior CLASS Award, including being the only player from the West Coast honored... Earned First Team Lowe's Senior All-American... Named ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America First Team after also earning All-District VIII First Team honors... Also earned First Team NSCAA Scholar All-West Region... Named First Team All-Pac-10 for the fourth consecutive season... Also honored for a stellar season on the pitch, being named honorable mention All-Pac-10... Had a solid senior year, starting all 18 games and playing every minute in goal for UW... Allowed just 19 goals in 18 matches for a 0.97 goals against average, which ranked fourth in the Pac-10... Allowed just 10 goals in Pac-10 play, tied for second in the league... His 73 saves and six shutouts both rank fifth on the UW single-season charts... Ranked high in the Pac-10 in all categories, including second in saves (73) and shutouts (6), third in saves per game (4.06)... Had a Pac-10 high and career-high 11 saves in UW"s 2-0 win at San Diego State... The 11 saves were two shy of the UW single-game record... Also had nine saves and faced a season-high 23 shots in UW's 0-0 draw at Denver... Recorded a shutout with three saves in the season-opener at Seattle... Four of his shutouts came in Pac-10 play, including a 2-0 shutout with six saves at then-No. 5 California... Recorded back-to-back shutouts late in the season, including a 0-0 draw with then-No. 19 Stanford during which he made two saves in 110 minutes, followed by his 11-save performance at San Diego State during which he faced 21 shots.
2008 (Junior) - Shared starting goalkeeping duties with Stephen Fung...first-team Pac-10 All-Academic honoree for third-straight year...ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District first-team...earned the UW's Provost Academic Excellence Award for his 3.92 cumulative GPA...posted two of team's three shutouts...recorded 24 saves and a 1.42 goals against average...grabbed season-high seven saves at Stanford (Nov. 7)...also had six saves at Cal (Nov. 9).
2007 (Sophomore) - Started first four games before being sidelined for the rest of the year with a serious facial injury suffered vs. New Mexico (Sept. 14)...named to Pac-10 All-Academic first-team for the second straight year...recorded double-overtime shutout vs. New Hampshire (Aug. 31)...grabbed 16 saves...allowed just three goals and tallied a 0.75 goals against average.
2006 (RS-Freshman) - Won starting goalkeeping job as a redshirt-freshman...played in 19 games, starting 18...All-Pac-10 honorable mention pick...named to Pac-10 All-Academic first-team...was the only redshirt freshman to make the team (true freshmen not eligible)...posted a Pac-10 high seven shutouts including three in the first four matches in which he played...his seven shutouts tied for sixth on UW's single-season list...gave up 19 goals and turned in a 1.02 goals against average...tallied 58 saves, including a season-high eight at UCLA (Sept. 29) ...grabbed seven saves at California (Oct. 15) and in the second round of the NCAA Tournament at Santa Clara (Nov. 15)...among his shutouts was a 3-0 blanking of Creighton in the first round of the NCAA Tournament...failed to allow a goal in back-to-back home matches with San Diego State (Oct. 20) and UCLA (Oct. 22) for which he was named Pac-10 Player of the Week...in that match versus the Bruins, saved a penalty kick attempt to preserve the shutout.
2005 (Freshman) - Used redshirt year.
CLUB/HIGH SCHOOL:
2005 graduate of Shorecrest High School...four-year letter winner and two-year team captain...NSCAA/adidas All-Region VIII selection (2005)...registered 45 career shutouts, including 18 during his senior season...helped nationally-ranked prep squad to 2005 3A Washington state title after notching Wesco South and regional championships...was a first-team All-State honoree and 3A MVP in 2005...earned second-team All-State honors in 2004, helping team to third place state finish...two-time first-team All-Wesco South (2004, 2005)...named to the 2005 Seattle Times "Star Times" All-Area team...two-time Seattle Post-Intelligencer "All-Star" (2004, 2005)...played with Snohomish United FC (2004-05) and Emerald City FC (1997-2004)...in 2003, selected to ODP regional pool and regional camp...helped team to ODP Region IV Washington state boys championship in Las Vegas, Nev. (2005).
