What is your favorite part about being a Husky?
My favorite part about being a Husky is that I get to fulfill the dream I've had since I was a little girl and now I get to be that person that some little kid looks up to.
What is one random fact that people wouldn't know about you?
I can make a mean monkey sound.
What is the best part about playing for Coach Tarr?
The best part about playing for Coach Tarr is having someone who will do everything in her power to give us the best opportunities and to push us to be the best we can possibly be.
Why did you choose the number you wear?
I actually use to be number 24 but when I moved teams there was already someone with that number so I chose number 14 because it still had the number four in it.

Taran in her own words:
I am an easygoing person, maybe seen as sarcastic and funny. I love traveling and getting to experience new places. I have no siblings so I substitute my two dogs as my sisters. I could probably eat Chinese food every day of my life, and frozen yogurt over ice cream any day of the week. I have a shoe obsession, of any kind. My favorite movie of all-time is Grease. My cousin and I would sing and dance to it almost every day when we were little. My favorite kind of weather is when the sky is overcast and it's raining. I like sunny days too but I like the cozy feeling that comes with the rain. I love snakes, but I could never have one because of the poor mice that you have to feed it. I want to have a pet monkey and teacup pig when I get older, along with two dogs. I'm obsessed with tea, any kind, hot or cold. I have weird pet peeves like water being around the sink, not matching or loud chewing. Family gatherings with my family is always crazy, it's filled with blue grass, loud people, good food and usually making up some kind of game in the yard that requires us to throw things at one another. I love to sleep, probably more than a lot of things. I love to sing even though I am terrible at it.
