Huskies Open Registration For Two Youth Camps

SEATTLE – The Washington Huskies announced two new youth softball camps set for this winter. On November 11 and 12, the Huskies will host the Mini Dawgs Camp, open for kids age 6-12. The Huskies will also host the Holiday Softball School on December 28 and 29, open for kids ages 8-16. Registration for both camps is available online.
The Mini Dawgs clinic will take place in the Dempsey Indoor Facility next to Husky Softball Stadium and begins at 10:00 am on both November 11 and 12, running until 12:30 pm. This camp includes a multitude of mini-games of softball in small groups as well as coaching on both the offensive and defensive side of the game. All campers should bring their own equipment, including molded plastic cleats. Registration is $250 a person.
Washington's Holiday Softball School will run two days, starting at 1:00 pm each day at the Dempsey Indoor Facility and running until 5:00 pm. Participants will have the opportunity to undergo customized training just like the Husky team, learning over two days the day-to-day habits it takes to succeed as a Husky. Campers will have direct, personalized training throughout the weekend, with each group limited to a maximum of 25 people. All campers should bring their own equipment, including molded plastic cleats. Registration is $550 per person.
