Pac-12 Releases Softball TV Schedule

SEATTLE - The Pac-12 announced the 2018 softball television schedule Monday, with the Huskies set to make 20 appearances on the Pac-12 Network.ย That total is the most of any Pac-12 team, with the Huskies making 11 appearances at home and nine on the road.
Washington will host four home series on the Pac-12 Network.ย Series against Arizona, California, Utah, and Oregon will all be aired live from Husky Softball Stadium, with the Huskies' road series against Arizona State, Stanford, and UCLA also being broadcast on the Pac-12 Network.
The first series on the Pac-12 Network for the Huskies will be the conference-opener as Washington heads to Arizona State for three games beginning March 17.ย After that, the Huskies return home to play Arizona in three games beginning March 23, all televised.
Washington's televised road series against Stanford will begin March 29.ย The Huskies host two home series on the Pac-12 Network in early April, against Utah beginning April 6 and against Cal beginning April 13. The final televised road series, against UCLA, begins April 20.
The last televised regular-season series on the Pac-12 Network for the Huskies will be against Oregon, with that three-game set beginning April 27.
The Huskies return seven regular starters as well as two of their three starting pitchers from the 2017 Women's College World Series team.ย Those returners include All-Pac-12 First Team pitcher Taran Alveloย and NFCA All-Region performers Morganne Flores, Taylor Van Zee, and Sis Bates.
Washington's season kicks off at the Bradley Tournament in Peoria, Illinois.ย Game one of that tourney for the Huskies will be on Thursday, February 8.ย The first home game of the season for the Huskies will be Friday, March 2 against Alabama at the Husky Classic.
