TEMPE, Ariz. --- The Washington women's tennis team completed the final day of play at the ASU Thunderbird Invitational on Sunday. The Huskies added three singles victories as well as three doubles wins to give the Dawgs a total of 20 matches won over the three-day event.

Junior Natsuho Arakawa won against Smith from Cal 7-5, 6-3 in her final singles match of the invitational. Arakawa's win was her second of the tournament.

Senior Stacey Fung defeated Patiuk from Michigan 6-3, 6-2 for her second win of the event. Freshman Nika Zupancic lost to Craciun from Michigan 5-7, 3-6.

Junior Katarina Kopcalic won against Lizarturry from Mississippi State 6-4, 6-1. Senior Kenadi Hance was defeated by Rentouli from Mississippi State 4-6, 1-6.

Freshman Delara Zamani fell to van Linge from Michigan 0-6, 6-7 (5). Sophomore Vanessa Wong lost to Antonaki from Mississippi State 2-6, 3-6. Junior Abbey Watanabe was taken down by Koester from Arizona State 3-6, 2-6.

In doubles action the Huskies won three out of four matches on Sunday. Fung and Zupancic beat Hule and Paulus from TCU in a quick manner 6-0.

Hance and Zamani defeated Koester and Alicea from ASU 6-3. Wong and Kopcalic fell to Lekai and Iamachkine from Pepperdine 2-6. Arakawa playing alongside Lizariturry from Mississippi State beat Slaysman and Klanecek from ASU 6-1.

The ASU Thunderbird Invitational was the final fall tournament of the season for the Huskies. The Dawgs will next be in action on Jan. 17 when they will take on Hawaii.
