August 07, 2019 | Women's Basketball
SAN FRANCISCO --- The Pac-12 released the weekly matchups and locations for the 2019-20 conference schedule on Wednesday. Game times and dates will be announced at a future time.
The Huskies open the conference slate with three-straight road games, starting with a trip to Pullman to open the Boeing Apple Cup Series at Washington State the final week of 2019. Washington then opens the new year with a trip to the Bay area to face Stanford and Cal.
UW plays its first home game of the conference schedule in the second week of January, welcoming the Cougars to Alaska Airlines Arena for the final game of the Boeing Apple Cup Series.
In Week three, the Huskies face the Arizona schools at home, then head back out on the road to face UCLA and USC in Los Angeles. Week five begins a four-game home stand with Washington hosting Stanford and Cal before Utah and Colorado come to Seattle in week six for the only meeting between the two schools.
The Huskies travel to the desert in week seven to face Arizona and Arizona State, then come home for their final games of the regular-season with USC and UCLA making the trip north. Washington closes out the 2019-20 season with a trip to south to face the Oregon schools for the only time this season.
Washington closed out the 2018-19 season with an impressive run through the Pac-12 Tournament, upsetting Utah and Oregon State to reach the tournament semifinals for the second time in program history. The Huskies return 85 percent of their scoring from last year, adding a trio of four-star recruits and a talented junior college transfer point guard to the 2019-20 squad.
