
Woolsey Named to PING All-America Honorable Mention Team

NORMAN, Okla. – University of Washington junior Noah Woolsey has been named to the 2020 NCAA Division I PING All-America Honorable Mention Team, the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced on Thursday. The last Husky to earn GCAA honors was Corey Pereira who was also a honorable mention selection in 2016.
Woolsey has already picked up GCAA PING All-West District honors this season and was one of the Pac-12's top golfers on the year.
During the 2019-20 season, Woolsey took home three tournament titles. The junior shared the victory at the Husky Invitational before winning the Old Town Club Collegiate outright the following week.
He also tied for first at the Georgetown Intercollegiate. His final four tournaments of the year featured all top 20 showings. Woolsey led the team with a 70.6 stroke average, and added 13 rounds under par.
