LAKE FOREST, Ill. – Washington men's golf finished as the runner-up at the Windon Memorial Classic. The Huskies finished the week with a tally of 3-under (837) after totaling 276 (-4) in Tuesday's final round at Onwentsia Club.

It is the first time since the 2023-24 season that the Huskies have started the season with back-to-back Top 3 team finishes.

Finn Koelle posted his best round of the tournament on Tuesday with a 66 (-4) to jump from a tie for 16th into a tie for fourth. Koelle posted one of his best nine-hole scores, shooting a 30 that featured three straight birdies on holes 15, 16 and 17. It is Koelle's first career back-to-back Top 5 placements at a tournament after he won the Sahalee Players Championship earlier this month.

Third-year Brock Maulding had his second career Top 15 finish after also posting his best round, a 3-under 67. Maulding had four birdies to one bogey in his final 18 holes as he jumped up 22 spots on the leaderboard at even par for the tournament.

Grady Millar joined Maulding with a Top 15 placement following his round of 72 today.

In just his second collegiate tournament first-year Hamish Farquharson placed in a tie for 21st at 1-over following his 1-over round today.

Emil Herstad rounded out the lineup in 81st place at 15-over.

UW will head across the pond for its next tournament for the St Andrews Links Collegiate alongside the Washington women's team. The Dawgs will play the first two days on the Jubilee Course and the final round at the historic Old Course in St Andrews, Scotland. All three days will be televised on Golf Channel, October 12 through 14.
