Pearson, Purohit Wrap Play At Sectionals

SEATTLE -- The Husky doubles duo of Soham Purohit and Brett Pearson finished up competition at ITA West Sectionals, hosted by Cal, going 1-1 in consolation play.
Purohit and Pearson had nearly pulled off the upset of the No. 1 seeds on Thursday, but fell just short in a third set tiebreak. On Friday they earned a back draw win over Boschmans/Watanabe Eriksson of Santa Clara, 8-3. But in their second match, the Dawgs fell, 6-8, against Winston Wooin Lee and Fryderyk Lechno Wasiutynski of Cal.
