December 22, 2025 | Women's Tennis
SEATTLE – Washington women's tennis head coach Robin Stephenson has announced the team's 2026 schedule on Monday.
Looking to build momentum from the fall where five Huskies made an appearance in the NCAA Singles & Doubles Championships, UW will open the season at Hawaii – for the second season in a row – on Jan. 14.
UW will head to ITA Kickoff Weekend in Knoxville, Tenn. where the Dawgs will face Pepperdine in the opening round on Jan. 24. The Huskies will meet either Tennessee or Clemson on Jan. 25. Should UW advance out of Kickoff Weekend, Washington will qualify to the ITA Team Indoor National Championship that will be held Feb. 6-8.
The home opener will come against Portland on Jan. 31.
Following the trip to the ITA Team Indoor National Championship, Washington will host six consecutive home matches against Utah (Feb. 20), San Diego (Feb. 22), Washington State (Feb. 27), UC Santa Barbara (March 1), Rutgers (March 6) and Maryland (March 8).
Washington will also host a couple of neutral site contests - Utah vs. San Diego State on Feb. 21 and Washington State vs. UCSB on Feb. 28.
The Dawgs hit the road for three matches against Oregon (March 14), Nebraska (March 20) and Iowa (March 22). UW returns to Montlake for a pair of matches against Northwestern (March 27) and Illinois (March 29).
Washington heads down to Southern California for a pair of matches at USC (April 3) and UCLA (April 5). The home finale weekend comes as the Dawgs host Minnesota (April 10) and Wisconsin (April 12).
Closing out the Big Ten slate, the Huskies will travel to Penn State (April 17) and Ohio State (April 19).
The 2026 Big Ten Tournament will be held at Ohio State April 23-26. The NCAA First and Second Rounds will be held May 2-3 and the NCAA Super Regional on May 9 – both at campus sites. The NCAA Team Championships will begin May 14 in Athens, Ga.
