
GymDawgs Travel To Illinois For Tri-Meet

SEATTLE – The Washington gymnastics team heads to Champaign, Illinois, on Saturday, Feb. 22, for a tri-meet against host team No. 21 Illinois and Illinois State.
The meet is set for 11 a.m. PT and will stream on B1G+ with Mazie Gierat and Amanda Wijangco on call. Live scoring is available here.
Washington recently fell to Maryland, 195.725-194.650, but saw standout individual performances. Kira Bolden and Lex Mouyenga posted career highs on vault, while Taylor Russon earned a personal best 9.950 on beam. The GymDawgs are currently ranked No. 38 nationally and continue to excel on beam, where they rank in the top 25. Russon, Chelsea Hallinan, and Emily Innes all sit among the top 25 in the Big Ten individual beam standings.
