
No. 18 Washington Earns 3-Seed In First Big Ten Tournament

Big Ten Quarterfinals -- Thursday, April 24 vs. Winner of 6-Seed USC/11-Seed Michigan State

SEATTLE – The Washington women's tennis team (19-3, 11-2 Big Ten) will head to a familiar location in Ojai, Calif. for its first ever appearance in the Big Ten Championships.
This is the first time the Big Ten Tournament will be hosted at Libbey Park.
Washington received the No. 3 seed for the tournament, earning a first-round bye, and will play the winner of the first-round matchup between 6th-seeded USC and 11-seed Michigan State.
The Spartans and Trojans will compete Wednesday at 6 p.m. before the winner will face the Huskies Thursday at 6 p.m on B1G+.
UW is one of four B1G teams with a bye into the quarterfinal round, alongside top-seeded Michigan, No. 2 Ohio State, and No. 4 UCLA.
In regular season play, one of the Huskies' two conference losses was to USC, dropping a 3-4 battle in Seattle.
Washington swept Michigan State 4-0 in East Lansing, Mich. when the two teams faced off on April 12.
