SCOUTING THE BADGERS

The Badgers have lost three straight, dropping matches against Maryland and at UCLA most recently. Wisconsin is led by Bart Muns with six points on three goals. Markie Hrvojevic and Thomas Raimbault each have two assists to lead the team as well.
SERIES HISTORY
The Huskies are undefeated in the series against Wisconsin, owning a 5-0-1 record. Last season, the two sides battled to a 0-0 draw at Husky Soccer Stadium, the first result for the Badgers in the all-time series dating back to 1996.
LAST MEETING (9/27/2024)
SEATTLE – The Washington men's soccer team went toe-to-toe with No. 8 Wisconsin and gave the Badgers all they could handle Saturday night on Montlake but the two sides ultimately couldn't be split and they shared the points in a hard fought Big Ten match at Husky Soccer Stadium.
The Huskies owned a narrow 8-6 advantage in terms of shots on the night, though both teams posted just two attempts on target. Jadon Bowton made both stops required of him to earn his third clean sheet of the season.
While a good portion of the first half was a cagey affair, the Huskies started to gain momentum as the half wore on and as the intermission neared, Washington had the better of the play.
UW's best look came in the 38th minute from the corner flag as Peter Kingston played Rhys Gourdie near the top of the 18. Gourdie's touch was clean to setup a shot on his right but the Scottish international's hit was caught by Wisconsin keeper Matisse Hebert.
The Huskies came out of the halftime break remaining on the front foot but just like the first 45, struggled to put an attack together to fully test the Badger back line.
As the final whistle drew near and the pace quickened, Richie Aman broke free on a breakaway chance in the 88th minute. Just when it looked like the New Hampshire native was destined to bag the winner, a desperation tackle denied the Huskies.
Washington earned a last gasp corner with just seconds left before the full 90 and piled numbers forward, but a foul was called, forcing the Dawgs to settle for a point in the Big Ten table.
FIRST HOME DEFEAT
The Huskies fell to Michigan 1-0 last Saturday, the first Big Ten loss of the season for Washington. The game-winning goal was scored from a penalty kick in the final minute of the first half.
