Moll Twins Named Seattle Women's Sports Star Of Year
March 13, 2026 | Track & Field
SEATTLE -- At the 91st annual Seattle Sports Star of the Year awards Friday night, held at the Seattle Convention Center with dozens of Seattle sporting luminaries and legends in attendance, Husky junior pole vaulters Amanda and Hana Moll were named the 2025 Women's Sports Star(s) of the Year.
Amanda Moll was in attendance to accept the award, receiving it from former Husky volleyball star, and 2005 Seattle Sports Star winner, Christal (Morrison) Engle. Hana will be vying for the NCAA Indoor title in the pole vault on Saturday in Arkansas.
The Moll twins are the first track athletes to win the award since SPU's Jessica Pixler in 2010. They dominated the collegiate pole vault scene in 2025, setting seven NCAA Records between them. Amanda won the 2025 NCAA Indoor title, with Hana taking second, and Hana won the 2025 NCAA Outdoor title, with Amanda taking third. Amanda was named the USTFCCCA National Indoor Women's Field Athlete of the Year and Hana won the same award for the outdoor season. At the 2025 USA Championships, Amanda finished third and Hana was fourth, as both made Team USA for the World Championships in Tokyo. At Worlds, the Moll twins fittingly finished in a tie for sixth-place.
With Hana's 2026 world-leading clearance of 16-feet, set at the UW Invitational in January, the twins are the only two collegiate women's vaulters to clear 16-feet.
