UW Rowers Haul In Postseason Honors From CRCA

The Washington women's rowing team earned a long list of honors today as the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) announced its first set of postseason awards.
Washington had four members of its varsity eight earn All-America honors as Aisha Rocek was named to the first team, both Violet Holbrow Brooksbank and Jess Weir were listed on the second team, and coxswain Izzy Michaelson earned honorable mention.
Additionally, Washington head coach Yasmin Farooq, who led the Huskies to a second straight Big Ten Championship and was also named Big Ten Coach of the Year, was named the top coach for the CRCA's Region 4. Washington also earned Coaching Staff of the Year honors for Region 4.
Lastly, 10 members of the UW team were honored as CRCA Scholar-Athletes:
