SEATTLE – Washington football returns to Husky Stadium in 2026 with seven home games, including four Big Ten matchups and the Boeing Apple Cup. Fans can look forward to new experiences, enhanced gameday traditions and updates designed to make the Husky Stadium experience better from arrival through the final whistle.
New Security Screening Technology
In a continued effort to improve fan safety, the University of Washington has partnered with Evolv Technologies as the "Official Fan Screening Partner of UW Athletics." Starting in 2026, Evolv Express® Gen2 systems will be deployed across several athletic facilities on campus, including Husky Stadium and Alaska Airlines Arena.
All fans attending a UW Athletics event may be security screened by Evolv Express® systems. Fans should walk through the system at a natural pace and keep personal items in their pockets and approved bags unless directed otherwise. Gate attendants will indicate if additional screening is required.
The clear bag policy and approved items list remain in effect.
Dawg Walk
The Dawg Walk returns in 2026 at its traditional location outside the SW entrance of Alaska Airlines Arena. Beginning four hours before kickoff, doors will open to the arena and select concourse areas, including the Husky Hall of Fame and Husky Team Store.
New this year, concession stands inside the arena will open one hour before the team arrives, serving food and non-alcoholic beverages until stadium gates open.
Fans can also look forward to unique activations throughout the season, including Husky team autographs, live DJ performances and more.
New at the Husky Team Store
New merchandise this season includes Husky student-athlete backpacks, while a new Husky Team Store location has been added outside Section 330. Stadium team stores have also received refreshed looks for the 2026 season.

Club Patio Suites will feature dedicated menu items, new service vessels and a full bar menu available through service.

Easier to Find Your Favorites
A new wayfinding and signage program throughout the concourses will make it easier to navigate the stadium, with each concession stand featuring distinct branding to help fans quickly find what they're looking for.

A decades-long tradition gets a new fan component in 2026. Before the Huskies make their way from the locker room to the tunnel - and then the field - fans will be invited to participate in a custom rendition of the "Say Who, Say What" chant.
Led by the on-field emcee, UW Spirit and the Husky Marching Band, fans will help call the Dawgs out for the team entrance. Arrive early and get loud!
Rooftop Pyrotechnics
Rooftop pyrotechnics return for select evening and night home games during the team runout, joining the existing ensemble of videoboard pyro, on-field fire pillars and cryo jets.
Flyovers
Flyovers scheduled for select games will be announced in advance and will occur immediately following the national anthem performed by the Husky Marching Band. Flyovers are subject to change and availability.
DawgTrackz, Powered by Staydium Tech
Unique song selections will be played throughout the game each week, with QR codes available for fans to scan and access custom playlists featuring old favorites and fresh tunes.
Chick-fil-A "Kicken for Chicken"
Each game, one lucky contestant will have the opportunity to win free Chick-fil-A chicken for the entire stadium.
A New Playing Surface
This summer, UW replaced its AstroTurf playing surface with the RootZone 3DM system, designed to create a more consistent and stable playing surface by helping keep the infill evenly distributed. The system is widely used at NFL venues and provides a new playing surface for the Huskies in 2026.
With expanded regional transit options and changes to UW's gameday transportation program, fans have more ways to reach Husky Stadium in 2026.
Iowa Gameday Transportation
The Friday, Oct. 9 matchup against Iowa will bring significant changes to parking and transportation operations around Husky Stadium and the UW campus.
With the game taking place on a weekday, parking on campus will be limited. Fans attending the Iowa game are strongly encouraged to use public transportation or carpool and allow additional time to reach Husky Stadium. More information on weekday game transportation.
Link Light Rail
The Sound Transit Link light rail system provides direct access to Husky Stadium via the University of Washington Station, located just steps from the stadium. The 1 and 2 Lines connect Husky Stadium with communities throughout the region, including Federal Way and SeaTac Airport to the south, Bellevue and Redmond to the east, downtown Seattle and Lynnwood to the north.
The 2026 season is the first full football season with expanded Link service following major expansions on the Eastside and in South King County, adding new stations and thousands of additional parking spaces.
Fans should allow extra time when traveling by light rail, particularly before and after games, when trains and platforms can be crowded.
Park & Ride Express Bus Service
UW's South Kirkland, Eastgate and Redondo Heights Park & Ride Express bus service will no longer operate in 2026 due to expanded Link light rail service.
Fans who previously used these Park & Ride locations are strongly encouraged to use Link light rail to reach Husky Stadium. In addition, King County Metro will provide increased bus service on Routes 255 (South Kirkland), 44 (Ballard), and 542 (Redmond Transit Center), with additional coaches available to provide service on Routes 65, 72, or 75 (Lake City).
Parking
Single-game parking rates are $60 for five home games and $70 for the Penn State and Indiana games.
Fans driving to campus are encouraged to arrive early and review parking information before gameday.

Dawg Sleds
Fans parking in E1 can use Dawg Sled service to reach Husky Stadium.
Shuttle vans will transport guests from E1 along Wahkiakum Lane to E9. From there, fans can walk to the North Entrance or use golf cart service through the E9 parking lot. Golf carts will also be available to transport fans from E9 to the South Entrance.
Pregame service begins 2.5 hours before kickoff. Limited service will continue during the game, with postgame shuttle service returning fans to E1. Staff will be on site to assist guests.
Go Huskies App
The new-look Go Huskies App powered by WaFd Bank features new content modules and an updated design. The app is the best way for UW football fans to access their tickets and enter Husky Stadium, as tickets and parking passes are exclusively mobile.
Fans are encouraged to turn on push notifications within the app and their mobile device settings to receive news and updates throughout the season.

The Zone, Presented by Toyota
The Zone, presented by Toyota, returns as a free pregame hospitality experience at the Huskies' practice field adjacent to Husky Stadium. Opening two hours before kickoff, The Zone features:

Located on Rainier Vista just steps from Husky Stadium, REVELxp provides end-to-end management of gameday tailgating, allowing guests to enjoy the experience without worrying about setup or cleanup.

REVELxp also offers bellhop service to transport personal tailgating items to and from vehicles.
