Women’s Golf Announces 2026-27 Schedule

SEATTLE – Under second-year head coach Anna Temple, the Washington women's golf team has announced its schedule for the 2026-27 season.
Washington will open up the season with its annual Leadership & Golf Invitational, hosted by the Huskies in University Place, Wash. The Dawgs will open the season at home for the two-day tournament Sept. 14 and 15.
A week later, the Huskies will hit the road for the first time with a trip to Fort Collins, Colo., where they will compete in the Ben Connell Ram Classic Sept. 21-22.
Washington will take its talents to the international level this season as well. The Dawgs will hit the course in St. Andrews, Scotland where they will compete alongside Texas, Penn and the University of St. Andrews Oct. 12-14. The Husky men's golf team will also compete in the tournament.
"We are thrilled to have the opportunity to compete in the 2026 St Andrews Links Collegiate," Temple said. "This is truly a once in a lifetime experience for our student-athletes. Not only will it give our players an opportunity to play abroad, but the opportunity to play where our sport began is incredibly meaningful."
The fourth annual event will be held October 12-14, 2026. The fourth annual St. Andrews event will feature the first two rounds of stroke play on the Jubilee Course where the individual champion will be crowned. The final round will be a match play format at the Old Course to determine the team champion.
UW will close out the fall stretch with a trip to Hawaii, where the Dawgs will take part in the Nanea Invitational in Kailua-Kona from Oct. 26-28.
The Dawgs will spend November and December training on their own before beginning the 2027 stint with the Collegiate Invitational at GCC (Guadalajara, Mexico) Jan. 29-30. A season ago at this same tournament, 2026 grad Carmen Lim finished atop the leaderboard, earning her first ever collegiate win down in Guadalajara.
The rest of the spring slate is as to be expected for Washington, as the Huskies will then pivot to the Alice & John Wallace Women's Golf Classic down in Palm Desert, Calif. for a two-day tournament on March 9-10.
The end of March will feature the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational as the squad will make its second venture of the season to Hawaii. Two seasons ago in 2024-25, Washington won it all at the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational, concluding the tournament 19-under par and Vivian Lu was crowned as the competition's co-champion.
Washington will kick off April with the Chevron Silverado Showdown in Napa, Calif. from April 4-7 before making the cross-country trip to the Big Ten Championship later in the month. Washington will compete alongside Big Ten opponents for a conference crown in its third season in the league, with the 2027 conference championships being help in Nemacolin, Pennsylvania April 23-25.
