Women’s Golf Season Begins At Chambers Bay

SEATTLE – The Washington women's golf team will open up the 2026-27 season on its home turf, co-hosting the Leadership & Golf Invitational at Chambers Bay.
The Huskies along with Seattle U will co-host the tournament in University Place, Wash. on Sept. 14-15. This marks the fourth consecutive year the Dawgs have opened up the season at home.
Both days will feature a shotgun start at 8 a.m. PT and live results can be found here.
The tournament will feature 17 teams, including Tulsa, Cal State Long Beach, San Francisco, Santa Clara, San Jose State, Gonzaga, Southern Methodist, Eastern Michigan, University of Arkansas at Little Rock, Colorado, UC Davis, University of Louisiana Monroe, Seattle U, California Polytechnic State, Grand Canyon and Oregon State.
Four Huskies return from the 2025-26 roster, including fourth-year Mads Smith and the third-year trio of Amber Li, Wendy Tang and Athena Ni.
Second-year head coach Anna Temple added two newcomers in Hannah Ounap and Ha Young Chang to round out the roster.
