- Manned the No. 2 and No. 3 spots for the Huskies in both singles and doubles
- Big Ten Sportsmanship Award Recipient
- Named to the CSC Academic All-District team
- In his first start at the No. 3 line, defeated Hawai’i’s Timothy Li 6-3 6-2 in UW’s season opener (Jan.10)
- Made his debut at the No. 2 singles spot against #20 USC
- Strong weekend at the ITA Kickoffs in Austin, collecting wins against UNC-Wilmington in both singles and doubles, and also led South Florida’s Cuellar 6-3 5-4 before the match was clinched
- First Big Ten wins of the season in both singles and doubles came against Purdue’s Stefan Simeunovic, 6-2 6-4, and Lee/Velasquez, 6-3.
- Clinched several B1G doubles points, with notable wins against Michigan, Nebraska, Penn State, and Oregon
- UW Dean’s List Autumn and Winter quarters

2024-25 (Freshman)
- In his first season as a Husky, manned the No.5 and No.6 spots, helping the Dawgs reach the Big Ten Semifinals and the NCAA tournament, finishing the season ranked 37th as a team
- Finished the season 16-13 in singles with a 9-9 dual record
- Went 16-11 overall in doubles, 13-6 in dual matches with Brett Pearson, all but one at the No. 3 spot
- Opened the dual season with six-straight wins in singles and eight-straight wins in doubles with Pearson, clinching his first two dual singles victories against Seattle U and Portland State
- Clinched both a singles and doubles victory in Washington’s 4-0 sweeps over Utah and Oklahoma State
- First Big Ten win came in a full third set tiebreak over Mitchell Sheldon at Michigan State (Mar. 7) by a 6-3, 3-6, 7-6 (5) count
- Also had B1G wins over David Lindsay of Penn State (4-6, 6-4, 6-3) and Mujtaba Ali-Khan of Purdue (6-1, 6-2) and was leading Vincent Yang of Northwestern, 7-6, 3-1 when the match was clinched
- With Pearson, defeated USC’s Trouve/Morazzi 7-6 (7) to clinch the doubles point in Washington’s 4-2 upset win over USC
- With Pearson, defeated Cabrera-Bello/Stelse, 6-4, against No. 8 Arizona to clinch the doubles point
- In the Big Ten tournament quarterfinals with Pearson, defeated Nebraska’s Syosev/Wells, 6-4, to clinch the doubles point in the 4-3 win
- Was 7-4 in fall singles, with wins over players from Princeton and Rice in the Farnsworth Invitational
- Defeated Oregon’s Pouatcha/Errey at Regionals with Purohit, then fell to 13th-ranked Chang/Wright of Cal
- UW SAAS student of the winter quarter, awarded highest GPA on Men’s Tennis for the 2024-2025 season
- Earned ITA Scholar-Athlete honors
Born in Edison, New Jersey … mother is Kamini Belday and father is Gautam Belday … has one older brother, Karan, who played tennis at Johns Hopkins University … graduated from Laurel Springs School, an online institution, earning Honor Roll and passing 10 AP classes … a career-high junior ITF rankings of No. 131 … a five-star recruit on TennisRecruiting.net ranked as high as No. 22 in his graduating class and was the top ranked recruit from New Jersey … competed at the 2024 US Open Juniors and earned a spot in the Australian Open juniors … winner of four ITF junior doubles titles …studying a major in Political Economy and a minor in Business Administration.
