Bio
A junior academically already enrolled at Washington in the Foster School of Business when she joined the beach team in January of 2021, going on to be a key three-year starter and finish 10th in school history in dual wins.
2022-23 (As A Senior)
Enjoyed her best season in her final year, helping UW to program-best rankings and wins β¦ went 14-15 in dual matches, and was 6-9 in fall tourney play β¦ in dual matches, was 5-4 with Scarlett Dahl (1-3 at No. 4; 4-1 at No. 5), went 3-2 with Mary Sinclair all at No. 5, went 5-8 with Shannon Gormally all at No. 5, and went 1-1 with Maeve Griffin at No. 5 β¦ finished career ranked No. 10Β in school history with 28 career dual wins β¦ named to the Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll.
Partnered with Gormally: First dual win as a duo came on Apr. 2, a 21-17, 21-19 win over Rau-Kim/Letvin of UC Davis β¦ earned a 22-20, 21-17 win over Cal Polyβs Warren/Lloyd β¦ beat Utahβs Jacinto/Pitzak, 21-18, 21-18 β¦ two wins over Portlandβs No. 5 Lee/Mumolo at the Husky Invite β¦ had five wins together in the fall, four of those at the Alki Pairs tourney, where they beat Boise Stateβs Benson/Guerra-Acuna, and Oregonβs McAllister/Peterson β¦ a 23-21, 21-15 win over Grand Canyonβs Biasbas/Checani at Arizona Fall Classic.
Partnered with Dahl: Opened the season with a big 21-19, 21-14 win at No. 4 against 16th-ranked Florida Internationalβs Luini/Meyer, part of a 3-2 upset β¦ had two wins over Top-20 teams on Mar. 4, first beating Kost/Erro of No. 17 Arizona in straight sets, then pulling out a 21-12, 18-21, 18-16 win over No. 7 Stanfordβs Anderson/Kubiak, both at No. 5 β¦ two wins over Oregonβs No. 5 tandem, Peterson/McCaskill.
Partnered with Sinclair: A dominant win over OβNeal/Miller of Texas, getting a 21-1 first set win then a 21-9 second set β¦ also had wins over Nebraska and Spring Hill five pairs β¦ a close 13-21, 21-15, 15-8 loss to No. 11 Californiaβs No. 5 of Buchner/Martin β¦ had a win in the fall at West Coast Pairs over Grand Canyonβs Broadway/Edler, 23-21, 21-9.
Partnered with Griffin: Had a 21-18, 22-20 win over Oregonβs Plevin/McCaskill at the No. 5 spot on Apr. 15 β¦ started against 5th-ranked LMU, falling 21-15, 21-13 to Firnett/Tucker at No. 5.
2022 (As A Junior)
Posted a 9-21 record overall, going 7-13 with Emma Calle (1-8 at No. 4 and 6-5 at No. 5), going 2-6 with Ashley Shook (1-2 at No. 3 and 1-4 at No. 4), and 0-2 with Maeve Griffin (0-1 at No. 3 and 0-1 at No. 4)
Partnered with Calle: had a big 25-23, 19-21, 15-9 win at No. 5 over 11th-ranked Cal Polyβs Graff/Johansen β¦ teamed with Calle for a 21-14, 25-23 win at No. 4 over Martin/Gessner in the 3-2 upset victory over No. 11 California β¦ a 21-17, 21-8 win over Oregonβs Almanza/Rothstein at No. 5 in the 4-1 win
Partnered with Shook: finished the season playing with Shook, getting a Pac-12 tourney win over Utahβs Koch/Leight at No. 3, by aΒ 22-20, 21-16 score β¦ played tough in losses against No. 7 Grand Canyon and No. 3 UCLA, falling to GCUβs Hughes/Rowan, 18-21, 21-8, 15-10, and dropping a 21-15, 21-12 match to Bruins Monkhouse/Smith β¦ had a comeback win over Saint Maryβs Sundt/Harner, 14-21, 21-17, 15-12
Partnered with Griffin: had a 21-17, 21-15 loss at No. 3 against No. 11 Californiaβs Radell/Delgado on Apr. 24.

Joined the squad in her junior year academically and made a big contribution, starting every match and going 12-16 overall, 5-13 in dual play β¦ teamed with four different partners, going 6-5 with Avie Niece, 0-3 with Kyra Petersen, 3-7 with Ashley Shook, and 3-1 with Cassidy Schilling β¦ with Niece, got her first dual win against the No. 4 team of Smoot/Buchner from 11th-ranked Cal, winning 21-10, 21-13 β¦ had a 21-19, 21-9 win with Niece over Utahβs No. 4 Rideout/Mondra on Mar. 28 β¦ won the Corban Pairs 2 silver flight with Niece, beating Oregon duos in the semis and final β¦ all ten matches with Shook came at No. 4, including wins over teams from Portland, Oregon, and Utah β¦ opened the season teaming with Schilling at the first Corban Pairs tourney, going 3-1 to make the semis of the silver flight, with wins over teams from Corban and Boise State β¦ a Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll recipient.

Born in Sitka, Alaska ... parents are Jan and Bob Yerex ... has one younger sister, Chloe, who will be playing collegiately for Texas A&M Corpus Christi starting in 2021-22 ... extensive junior experience on the beach and indoors ... played club for DaKine Volleyball Club on the beach and indoors for Lake Tapps VC ... helped lead Gig Harbor to South Sound Conference titles as an outside hitter ... helped her team finish seventh at the 3A state championships as a senior, and fifth-place as a junior ... earned top-10 academic award for her 2018 graduating class ... a National Merit Scholar ... a Student of Distinction - Business & Entrepreneurs.
