- After having been a member of the UW men's rowing team the last two seasons, moved to the women's team for the 2023-24 school year.
2023 (Junior):
- Coxed the Fourth Varsity 8+ in one of two races at the Covered Bridge Regatta
- Coxed a Varsity 4+ at the Windermere Cup/Opening Day Regatta
- Coxed the Varsity 4+ A boat that beat a UW 4+ B crew and two Washington State fours
- Coxed a Varsity 4+ that won its race at the Husky Open
- Coxed at Sammamish Rowing Association, competing with both men's and women's crews
- Coxed both the men's and women's U19 eights at Club Nationals in 2019
- Also competed at Head of the Lake in 2017, 2018 and 2019
- Parents are Robin and Elya Baches
- Has one sister, Alexa
- Has a great uncle who rowed at Brown and a grandfather who swam at UW
- A fourth generation Husky, with eight relatives who went to Washington (including mother, three grandparents and a great grandmother)
