Prugh Second After Two Rounds In Houston
TEMPE, Ariz. - The Husky men's golf team shot a combined 3-over-par 571 in the first two rounds of the ASU Thunderbird Invitational and find themselves tied for seventh place out of 16 teams.
Arizona is in first at 14-under-par. USC is two strokes behind in second, followed by UCLA, Arizona State and Oregon.
Nick Taylor led the way for the Dawgs at Karsten Golf Course posting a pair of 1-under-par 70's and is tied for 11th.
Freshman Chris Williams had a strong second round with a 3-under 69 and is the next highest Husky finisher at -1 overall (141) and tied for 18th.
Seniors Chris Killmer and Richard Lee were each 5-over-par on the day and are tied for 56th. Darren Wallace was +6 and is tied for 66th.
USC's Steve Lim shot a 9-under 133 on the day and has a two stroke lead over the field.
The Huskies are scheduled to start teeing off at 7:00 tomorrow morning.
