Distance specialist competed at Pac-10's in both cross country and track last season ... took up the steeplechase this past spring, posting one of the school's Top-10 times.
2007-08: Ran with the varsity Top-10 on three occasions, most notably placing 62nd overall, 10th among Huskies, at Pac-10 Championships ... finished 17th, seventh on UW, at Sundodger Invite ... was the ninth Husky across the line at the Bill Dellinger ... was UW's top finisher at the Mike Hodges Invite in 12th place ... ran two events at the MPSF Championships, taking 12th in the 5000-meters and 24th in the 3000-meters ... ran the 8th-fastest steeplechase time in school history at the Pepsi Team Invite in 11:21.45 ... took fourth in the steeple at the WSU dual in 11:37.98 ... ran the 5K at the Pac-10 Championships, placing 25th.
2006-07: Competed three times in the fall, twice with the varsity unit ... ran 10th among Huskies at the Sundodger Invite, and ninth at the Bill Dellinger Invite ... ran with the "B" squad in the Open race at Pre-Nationals, running second among Husky finishers and 87th overall ... did not compete during indoor track season and ran twice unattached outdoors to preserve a year of eligibility ... ran the 3000m in both unattached races, with a top time of 10:31.72.
High School and Personal: Parents are Kathryn Beaumont and Sam Imperati ... has an older brother, Tony ... father played soccer at Santa Clara ... competed at Nike Team Nationals in 2004 and 2005, placing 95th and 66th, respectively ... was 25th at the state championships as a senior, and 64th her junior year ... earned top-10 league finishes both seasons ... was a first-team All-Metro League honoree for cross country in 2005 ... captured second-team all-league honors the previous season ... earned all-state honorable mention as a senior ... was named Most Improved for cross country in each of her final two seasons, and was the team MVP in 2005 ... also earned a Most Improved honor for the 2005 track season, and was named Jesuit's Outstanding Female Track Athlete in 2006.
