Played three seasons of varsity baseball for coach Mark Tyler ... as a sophomore, threw a complete game in a 3-1 win over defending state champion O'Dea in the district championship to lead the Wolverines to the state tournament for the first time since in 17 years ... went 6-0 that season after starting the year on the JV team ... also helped team to state tourney appearance as a junior in 2007 ... second-team All-KingCo as a sophomore and first-team as a junior ... earned first-team All-KingCo and first-team 3A all-state as a senior in 2008 ... went 5-3 with a 0.98 ERA and a league-leading 45 strikeouts as a senior.
