Head Coach Robin Stephenson: "The loss today definitely hurts and we can't believe it's over. But this group has so much to be proud of this season. We have grown so much as a team and each of the girls have grown so much individually. They made amazing strides this year and will go down as one of the best teams in the history of the program. This is now the standard for our team and we are excited about the bright future ahead and understand what it takes to be at this level and beyond. We are happy with the progress we have made and want to build on the success. I'm so proud of everyone in our program and so appreciative of the support from our department and everyone in Seattle - it's been an incredible ride this year.
"I am so incredibly proud of Stacey and Kenadi for their careers here and for who they are. They were part of my very first recruiting class and they have put UW women's tennis back on the map and have been so committed to our vision since day one. They will leave a legacy behind that will be tough to match and have left this program so much better than they found it. I couldn't be more proud to have coached them and to have watched them grow on and off the court."
Kenadi Hance – "It's crazy that my time at UW has come to an end. It's been such an incredible experience to learn and grow at such a prestigious university both on and off the court. i will forever be grateful for everyone on staff who has worked so hard to make an impact on my time here. This team is so special and the bond we have is something that I'll never forget. The trajectory this program is going, stace and I can say we left this program much better than we found it. I think that's what I'm most proud of."
Stacey Fung – "The past four years at UW have been amazing to say the least. Not only what's happened on the court, but the friendships I have made and lessons that I have learned. I have grown so much as a person since my freshman year and I owe that all to the people I have been surrounded by and inspired by every day. I'm going to miss grinding out the early morning workouts and tough matches with my best friends, but will forever bleed purple! My senior year has been more than I could have ever imagined it to be and I am so grateful for the opportunity to be a Husky."
