UW Season Finale Rained Out
May 25, 2019 | Baseball
SEATTLE -- The series and season finale between Washington and California was canceled Saturday due to heavy rainfall at Husky Ballpark. The Huskies will end the season 28-24 overall, 12-17 in Pac-12 play.
Prior to the rain arriving, four Husky senior players -- Blake Burton, Mason Cerrillo, Adam Davenport and Joe Wainhouse -- plus student manager, Jacob Hatloe, were honored in a ceremony.Β
Up next for many of the Huskies is the MLB Draft, which will be held June 3-5. Other Huskies will head out to play summer baseball following completion of the spring quarter around the country, including at least four players heading to the Cape Cod League.Β
