Huskies Drop Nebraska Finale

SEATTLE – Washington fell in the series final, 6-0, against No. 18 Nebraska on Sunday afternoon at Husky Softball Stadium.
The Huskies move to 32-15, 10-8 Big Ten on the season.
Morgan Reimer (14-7) got the start, going 4.1 innings with three strikeouts and two walks allowed. Sophia Ramuno came on in relief going the final 3.2 frames with two strikeouts and one run allowed.
Nebraska broke the scoreless tie with five runs (four earned) in the top of the fourth. The Huskers added a run in the sixth on Jordy Bahl's second home run of the game.
Washington was able to get base runners, but was unable to drive in a run, leaving seven on base.
The lone UW hit came from Alycia Flores in the in the fourth, a single to left.
The Huskies conclude the regular season with a three-game series at Penn State beginning on Friday. To view the entire weekend schedule, click here.
