Jacobs, Weissheim Drops Heartbreaker In Doubles Consolation Draw

CARY, N.C. – Washington women's tennis concluded its run at the ITA All-American Championships on Thursday.
The doubles pair of 24th-ranked Alexia Jacobs and Marie Weissheim fell to 18th-ranked Darya Schwartzman and Uma Bakaiyte of Rice in three sets. The Huskies jumped out in the first set 6-1 but dropped a tough second set 6-4 and a 10-4 decision in set three.
Up next, the Huskies will travel to Eugene for the Duck Invitational October 3-5.
