ST ANDREWS, Scotland – In the consolation match of the St Andrews Links Collegiate, Washington men's golf came away with a 5-1 victory over the University of Pennsylvania on Wednesday at the Old Course.

The Huskies were a combined 12-under.

Grady Millar was the first point on the board, shooting a 68 (-4). Millar saw four birdies on the front nine and added a fifth on the historic "Road Hole" (No. 17). His lone bogey came on the ninth. The 68 was the lowest round of any player today.

In the second match, Hamish Farquharson won handily (5UP) with his 69 (-3). Farquharson went out in 34 and after a bogey on the 10th, finished with a pair of birdies on 14 and 18.

Brock Maulding secured the team win with his 5UP victory in the fifth match. He went 3-under on the front nine.

Finn Koelle closed out the match with a 69 to win 8UP – the largest margin of victory for the Huskies. Koelle went birdie-birdie on the final two holes to bounce back from his double bogey on the 13th.

Jake Foley went out in the third match of the day and shot a 1-over 73. Despite his great round, he lost his match 1UP.
